Cultivating committed physician leaders is a signature practice of CEP America and is woven into the very essence of who we are. Our leaders take a big picture approach to addressing the long-and short-term challenges and opportunities for both their department and hospital. They are able to transform the performance, quality, and culture of their departments with or without changing staff.

As part of the CEP America culture, all of our physician partners are encouraged to be involved in and passionate about their hospitals. They show their commitment through participation and leadership within their departments and throughout the hospital.

Medical Director Academy

To nurture leadership development, CEP America offers an intensive 3-day Medical Director Academy that provides our present and future directors with the unique skills and resources necessary to become effective leaders. Our highly experienced Regional Directors serve as coaches and mentors and work to bring the resources of CEP America to the local sites within their region.

Leadership Training Series

What sets CEP America apart is our ability to cultivate leaders across every level of the organization. Strong physician leadership is not just at the top but embedded from the bottom up. Our Medical Directors raise the bar across the organization by recruiting and retaining the highest quality physicians.

Our multi-day Leadership Training Series develops the many skills necessary to be a strong leader, manager and communicator. Through a system of coaching and mentoring, our physicians are given the necessary tools to truly make a difference in their department and at their hospital.
